Canada Resettlement 2025 : Canada has been resettling refugees through programs that assist single individuals and entire families to escape wars, persecution, and crisis over the years. There is one such program known as the Resettlement Assistance Program or RAP that offers new entrants a critical set of services and some emphasize financial support. Important in the program starting July 2025 are all updates on eligibility, benefits, and the support provided to refugees in Canada.
What Is The Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP)?
This is another program of the federal government specifically geared at helping refugees to begin a new life in Canada. It is the IRCC that controls it; RAP provides crucial support to refugees during their first year of resettlement. Temporary accommodation as well as orientation services help the refugee cover living expenses through financial support.
The program has all the ingredients of serving the target group of “government-assisted refugees (GARs)” and going a long way establishing a strong base for living well in Canadian society.
